Connections Based on Design Variants (3-D SE)

The dialogue for the fitting of Design Variants-based connections is, more or less, similar for all functions (exceptions are the Cross-bracing (9501), End plate (1102) and Vertical ladder. Before using the connection functions, we recommend to read the notes given in the chapters Fit Connections - Procedure and Dialogue Window for Connections.

The following connection functions are available:

Beams identified with an arrow symbol can also be rotated.

The fitting of connections, stairs, railings and predefined assemblied takes place via the Civil Engineering functions docking window. To activate the window, select > Docking windows, and select Steel Eng. Connections + Variants.
