Interfaces

The links between different hardware components and software products are referred to as Interfaces.

The number and quality of interfaces available to HiCAD users enables the retrieval of archived material without losing data as well as the exchange of data with customers and suppliers. You can access standard format interfaces ranging from DXF and IGES to STEP, as well as those with native format such as ME10, Autocad, CATIA, Pro/E, Parasolid or ACIS.

Please note:

Data exchange between different systems is only possible if data is suitably formatted and transferred via a valid data link using an appropriate protocol or interface. The link between diverse hardware and software is referred to as an interface.
You can speed up the conversion of files using appropriate Macros. For this, you require the Design Automation module.
