IFC

To open IFC files (2x Edition 3) in HiCAD, select > Open > Step, Iges..., then select the desired *.ifc file from the dialogue.

To export a HiCAD drawing in IFC format, select > Save as... > 3-D formats (Step...), and save the file in the *.ifc format.

In the Parts to be exported field on the top right of the export dialogue window, whether you want to save the complete drawing (All), or only selected parts (Selection list).

Please note:

3-D CAD formats (Step, Iges, ...) that are imported to HiCAD will automatically be opened in a newly created drawing.
