Data Interchange Files are normal ASCII files. A short description of a DXF file format has been included at the end of this section. A DXF interface requires the following files:
- HCADACAD.DAT to convert HiCAD to DXF/DWG format.
- ACADHCAD.DAT to convert DXF to HiCAD format
Both of these files can be found in the \SYS sub-directory.
