Referencing Functions (3-D)

These referencing functions on the Drawing tab are only available for parts that have already been referenced:

Functions

Reference part, Save, Detail drawing

Use this function to reference parts subsequently.

Clicking opens a menu with further functions for the saving and expanding of feature variants.

Update referenced identical parts

Use this function to update referenced parts and their identical parts in one step. This may be required if you have changed a referenced part in the 3-D drawing, but have not saved it yet.

Clicking opens a menu with further referencing functions.

Update active part + identical parts from file

Detects all identical parts of the active part in the current drawing, and adjusts the active part and all found identical parts in one step to the state of the corresponding KRA file.

Break up referencing, Individual

Removes the referencing of the active part, the referencing of any existing individual parts will however be retained.

Break up referencing, Individual+identical parts

Removes the referencing of the active part and all its identical parts.

Break up referencing, All parts

Removes all referencings that exist in the entire 3-D drawing.

Save referenced part

Saves the current state of a referenced part. Please make sure that the part is saved to the same path where it was defined!

Further referencing functions can be found in the context menu for referenced parts.
