You can create three types of connections between connecting points of symbols: Pipe connections, signal connections and drive connections.

When changing the Settings for line parameters of connections, these functions update the existing connections.

Use this function to create line interruptions at intersecting connections.
Use this function to remove the line interruptions at intersecting connections.
Measuring point is set independent of a symbol connection and is represented by a circle. The measuring point can be the starting point of a signal connection.

The entire connection section is deleted after identification.
Pull-down menu Del.
Simply select the connection you want to delete. If it belongs to connection lines, HiCAD deletes all lines. If a measuring point is set on the end of the connection or the connection lines, it is also deleted.
As a pipe section symbol belongs to each pipe section, when pipe connections are deleted, the appropriate pipe section symbol is also deleted. If, after deletion has been completed, no more pipe part symbols are assigned to the superior pipeline symbol (the pipe section symbol is handled as a pipe part), HiCAD asks if the pipeline symbol should also be deleted.
