Save Drawing

In the Save/Print function group of the Drawing tab you can find the following functions for the saving of drawings:

	Save drawing You choose this function if you want the current drawing to be saved under the current name in the existing directory.
	Save drawing as You choose this function to save the current drawing under a different name, enter the drawing subsequently into the database, save the drawing in HiCAD Viewer format or export the drawing (via the interfaces) to another file format.

Please note:

• New and processed 3-D parts in the current drawing are marked with in the ICN. When you next save the drawing, this marking is removed again.
• When exiting HiCAD or closing a drawing, you should therefore note whether the part structure contains parts marked with . This indicates that the current version of the drawing has not been saved yet!
