Notes on Data Backup

Although HiCAD performs an AutoSave of data at regular intervals, you should create backup copies of your drawings.

Remember also to back up the following files:

• referenced parts as well as other 2-D and 3-D parts,
• detail drawings
• user libraries and factory standard catalogues,
• your own background images,
• modified system settings or
• modified configurations, e.g. for BOM generation.

If your drawing contains pixel graphics which are linked only to the drawing, back them up as well.
