HiCAD 2011 - New in 2-D

Multiple insertion is now possible for the cloning (copying) of 2-D parts via 2 points. (SP1).

The number of decimal places for angle specifications can now be preset. (SP1)

When inserting Step files, a new drawing file will be created. Therefore, this function is now located in the menu for the opening of drawings. (SP1)

Objects (e.g. Excel tables, pixel files or texts) from the Windows clipboard can be pasted with the key combination CTRL+V.

In HiCAD 2-D you can now create 2-D details with references ("reference details") to normal parts ("base parts"). There are dependencies between these two elements, i.e. if the reference detail is changed, this change is also communicated to the base part, and vice versa.

You can create several reference details for one base part.

You can now use tab stops for annotation texts, enabling a tabular alignment of any text font. Furthermore, you can assign horizontal and vertical dividing lines to texts which have been separated with tab stops. This allows the creation of complete tabular annotations.

Up to 99 languages can now be managed in the HiCAD Dictionary.

The 1st and 2nd projection lines of a dimensioning can now be hidden separately.

Thickness and stretching of symbol lines can now be changed in one step.
