HiCAD 2010: New in 2-D

The Visualisation pull-down menu provides the 2-D representation functions for main parts and sub-parts. You can specify for each part (main part and sub-part separately) whether you want it to be shown or hidden. The representation type which you assign with these functions is written internally to a list and saved with the drawing. This also enables you to restore the representation via the Activate list function when you re-start HiCAD.

This list can also be activated by a right-click or with the Hide and Show functions in the ICN. (SP1)

  • You are now prompted to specify the colour of material hatchings.

HiCAD now also offers cross-hatchings for plastics. (SP1)

Use this function to copy the active annotation.

The visualisation functions for overlaps can now also be accessed via the Overlap menu.
