Example 1 - Step 5: Itemise and Save Model Drawing (ManBIM)

Before generating the workshop/detail drawings you need to itemise and save the model drawing from which they will be derived.

Switch back to the Drawing Management + BIM tab.

Here, activate the Itemisation, with options function (Drawing > Itemise > ...).

Specify the required settings (Example) and close the window with OK.

Select Management + BIM > Save drawing .

You can now display the current links and the product structure directly in HiCAD or in the HELiOS Desktop. To display the links, select Management + BIM > HELiOS PDM functions for active drawing > Document master for active drawing .

This enables you to check which parts have already been itemised and whether a drawing has already been generated for them. The screenshot above shows that eight drawings have not been generated yet.

As an alternative, you can use the Combined search in HELiOS (Activate the Without drawing link for your search):

The product structure can also be displayed. To do this, select Management + BIM > HELiOS PDM functions for active drawing > Article master for active drawing .
