The Update function and its pull-down menu

contains functions for adjusting of sheet developments and the parameter settings. The parameters will only affect the current drawing. The development parameters for new drawings can be specified in the Configuration Editor at Sheet Metal > Sheet development > Default setting.

Function	Description
	Adjust active sheet	This function updates all developments of the active sheet. If the developments have different parameters, these will be preserved, since the parameters are saved in the development. If a development has been locked against changes, the changes will not be applied.

	Adjust all sheets	This function updates all developments in the drawing, e.g. after changes to the Sheet Metal part. If the developments have different parameters, these will be preserved, since the parameters are saved in the development. If a development has been locked against changes, the changes will not be applied.
	Parameters - Individual	Use this function to change the parameters after selecting the development. If a development has been locked against changes, an error message will be displayed.
	Parameters - All	Use this function to change the parameters of all developments in the drawing. In the dialogue window, activate the checkboxes of the parameters that are to be shown in the development. The parameters will be taken over to the default settings.
	Parameters - Default setting	Use this function to specify the development parameters for new developments in the current drawing that you create with the Develop sheet function. In the dialogue window, activate the checkboxes of the parameters that are to be shown in the development.
	Limiting angle	When a sheet part is attached, each fillet is divided into polygon parts with a particular angle. This angle is referred to as the limiting angle. Dividing the fillet is a prerequisite for developing the sheet part. If the limiting angle selected is too small, you cannot develop the polyhedron.

If you are working with referenced parts, please remember the following:

The link between 3-D part and 2-D development is made, once the edge to be developed has been selected, by means of two points placed in layer 0 which lie on the edge and on the corresponding lines in the blank. If these points do not exist, the development will be re-generated, rather than updated.
When using referenced parts, you therefore need to bear in mind that an update can only be performed if the referenced part is saved after the development is generated and no new development of the part specifying another edge is generated after this
