HELiOS PDM > HELiOS PDM functions for active part

To use the HELiOS functions in HiCAD effectively, Document master and Article master functions have been divided into 2 function groups, enabling you to apply them to the entire Drawing or only to an active Part. The procedures used for these functions are however identical.

Clicking beneath Assign opens a pull-down menu with two additional functions.

Transfer product structure

Find and open linked drawing via HELiOS

Use this function to load the drawing of a part.

In order to execute this function, you need to have saved the part as a referenced single-part drawing with article master and document master.

If the active part is a Plant Engineering part for which no detail drawing exists, you can also use this function to open an isometry linked to this part (Designation: Isometry/(...) in selection list).
