The Itemisation/Detailing function group of the Drawing tab contains functions for part itemisation, which is a prerequisite for the creation of production documents and Bills of Materials (BOMs). In addition, functions for the generation of Steel Engineering workshop and detail drawings are provided. Besides the option to manually assign item numbers with the functions of the Dimensioning + Text tabs, HiCAD also enables an automatic itemisation of BOM-relevant 3-D parts.

Functions
	Itemisation Automatically assigns item numbers to parts. The current parameter settings for itemisation will be used.
	Drawing derivation Automatic creation of workshop and detail drawings.
	Mounting drawing Creation, expansion and modification of mounting drawings.
	Rules for AutoDimensioning in derived drawings, for dimensioning type 'Dimensioning rules' Settings for auto-dimensioning in derived drawings
	Edit part annotation templates Modifications for drawing derivation, e.g. for part annotation as well as the assigning of article and document attributes
	Bill of Materials... Creation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and Weld Seam Test Protocols

Clicking opens a pull-down menu with further functions.
