Save, with Preview: For Models and Sheets

When saving drawings, the scope for previews in HiCAD drawings in HELiOS or in the Viewer. If you want to change the scope subsequently, use the following functions:
Save with preview, All sheets
Drawing > Save/Print > Save > Save with preview, All sheets
Use this function to save all sheets for the representation in HELiOS and the HiCAD Viewer when you save the drawing. This means that both in HELiOS and in the HiCAD Viewer the views of all sheets will be shown.
Please note that the saving process can be time-consuming.
Please note:
- When saving in SZX format, the sheets of all Sheet areas will always be saved. This allows a displaying of all sheets in the HiCAD Viewer and also in HELiOS.
- When using the Save as... function, the scope of the preview can be specified in the dialogue window.
- If you open and edit a SZA file which had been created with a version older than HiCAD 2015 (2000.0), the scope of preview for HELiOS and the HiCAD Viewer will be automatically set to Active sheet for the Save function. This means that only the sheet that was active during saving will be displayed in HELiOS and in the Viewer. If you want to change the preview mode to All sheets, use the Save with preview, All sheets function.
- If you save a drawing that has been created with HiCAD 2015 (2000.0) or a higher version, the scope of preview that was last saved for this file will be used. If you want to change it, use the functions of the Save with preview for Model and all Sheets menu.
Save with preview, Active sheet
Drawing > Save/Print > Save > Save with preview, Active sheets
Use this function to save only the active sheet for the representation in HELiOS and the HiCAD Viewer when you save the drawing.
Please note:
- When saving in SZX format, the sheets of all Sheet areas will always be saved. This allows a displaying of all sheets in the HiCAD Viewer and also in HELiOS.
