Derive Sketch Elements (3-D) 

Sketch > Derive

Use the Derive functions to insert

• parallels of polylines or single lines, and
• projections of already existing composite edges onto surfaces or planes

into the active sketch / 3-D sketch.

Furthermore, you can

• take over graphical elements/edges from other parts into the sketch and
• approximate circles, ellipses or splines of a sketch.
