Profile Installation
The Profile Installation module offers user-friendly functions for an easy and rapid placing of profiles and other installation elements on wall and roof surfaces.
You find the functions on the same-named Ribbon tab:
The following functions are available:
- Profile installation: Opens the Profile installation dialogue window for configuring of a new profile installation.
- Length optimization: Allows you to lengthen profiles belonging to a profile installation. In this way, the number of different shipped lengths can be reduced, although at the price of an increased amount of scrap metal.
- Packaging: This function allows you to subdivide profiles into different "packages". These specifications are used for derived drawings.
- Transverse joints: This function allows you to mark graphical elements in a sketch that are to be used as transverse joint edges during the subsequent installation.
- Roof inclinations: Use this function to highlight the edges for different inclinations on a roof.
- Exact representation, Contour, cut, Contour, uncut and Contour, combined: You can choose between these four modes of representation for installations.
- Add designations and Delete designations: With these functions you can add or delete profile designations in the active view.
Furthermore, you have the option to automatically generate drawings with the Drawing derivation function, and to create Packaging lists with the Bills of Materials function.
