The dialogue for the fitting of Design Variants-based connections is, more or less, similar for all functions (exceptions are the Cross-bracing (9501), End plate (1102) and Vertical ladder. Before using the connection functions, we recommend to read the notes given in the chapters Insert Connections - Procedure and Dialogue Window for Connections.

The fitting of connections, stairs, railings and predefined assemblied takes place via the Civil Engineering functions docking window. To activate the window, select
> Docking windows, and select Steel Eng. Connections + Variants.
