Purlin Joint (1207) - 1 Girder/2 Purlins (3-D SE)

"Civil Engineering functions" docking window > Steel Engineering > General > Purlin joint (1207)

Use this Design Variant to bolt two purlins and one girder (acting as a binder) together, using a maximum of 4 bolts. For additional reinforcement you can insert up to 3 stiffeners on the purlin and the girder.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Identify the two purlins to be connected.
  2. Identify the girder.
  3. The Purlin joint (1207) dialogue window will be displayed.

The dialogue window is operated in the same way as the one for Purlin joint (1206).
