Create new workflow status

Use this function to add a new status to a currently loaded Workflow.

  • Activate a status and click Apply.
  • Identify the status to be followed by the new status. You can only implement the new status if the old one has been approved.
  • Enter a comment for the test step and click Approve.

The new status will be added to the Workflow.

Delete status

Enables you to delete a Workflow status.

Change connecting line

This function enables you to change connecting lines, in case of intersections. Select the connecting line. The line will be discontinued at the point of intersection.

Expand test cycle

You can expand test cycles if you want to modify an object (e.g. a 3-D drawing). Thus an extra exit will be assigned to the status, leading to the previous status. Usually, a status has a maximum of two exits.

  • Activate the status to be exited, e.g. Checkup.
  • Activate the input status, e.g. In Progress. To return an object to the Workflow status In Progress, the design must first be rejected.
  • Enter a comment for the checkup step and click the Reject button. When an object is rejected it need not automatically be returned to the previous stage.

Delete test cycle

Enables you to delete a test cycle.

Create action list

The action list links automatic processes to specific tests. Processes refer to events such as the change of ownership following a test, or, for folders, the creation of documents and articles.

Save

Select this function to save all changes or settings of the Workflow.

As the Workflow influences the entire system, you should not change any Standard Workflows!

End

Select this function to close the program EDBSETUP.
