Today, sheet metal processing stands for state-of-the-art production technologies and materials. Whereas casings, facade cladding, vessels and pipes once consisted of several components, it is now possible to create complex, bent sheet metal parts from one single piece.

This increase in complexity is causing sheet metal processing to move towards 3-D construction, be that for graphical visualisation, early checking of the functionality or for technical production reasons.

HiCAD Sheet Metal, our integrated universal solution for sheet metal processing, provides optimum support for these changes in requirements and offers a high degree of streamlining potential.

Sheet metal-specific functions, state-of-the-art technologies and a wide range of automatic procedures ensure that the route to the finished Sheet Metal model is significantly shortened.

However, the actual creation of the sheet metal construction is only one step along this route.
