BIM-specific Drawing Frames

Indication of Workflow in title block

Supplied with HiCAD are special drawing frames for Steel Engineering Drawing Management. They use, for example, the attribute _SZNATTRSTA in their title blocks, which marks all non-released drawings with an "In progress" or "Checkup" note in the title block.

During installation / parameter configuration according to Management+BIM, the HiCAD drawing frames will be replaced with these drawing frames (from the folder templates\Module_3DSteel\BIM\SZENEN).

If you use your own drawing frames, but also want to use this note, you need to integrate the _SZNATTRSTA attribute into your title blocks. The exact entry is @*@44,S._SZNATTRSTA@*@

Output of associated assembly / total quantity in title block

If in the Configuration Editor at PDM > Management+BIM the parameter Output associated assembly(-ies) is set to Yes, then in addition to the associated assembly of a part, the system also determines how often the part occurs in this assembly. This data is assigned to the HELiOS article attribute COMPONENT_REFASSEMBLY. This can be useful for BOM output, for example.

If this information is also to be output in the title block of the detail drawings, you have to adjust the title blocks of the drawing frames accordingly by using the _SZNATTRRIQ attribute. For this purpose, enter @*@65,S._SZNATTRRIQ@*@ as placeholder text in the title block (with a maximum text length of 65 characters).

The procedure for the editing of title blocks is explained in the Online Help chapter HiCAD Basics > Drawing Objects > Drawing Frame and Title Block.
