3-D Dimensioning + Text > Text

The functions for texts and annotation functions can be found in the Text function group of the 3-D Text + Dimensioning tab.

	New text Click to open the 3-D text pull-down menu with editing functions for texts.
	New part annotation Click to open a pull-down functions with the Settings function for part annotations.
	Part annotation, with free text and leader line Click to open the Annotation pull-down menu.
	Itemise part Click to open a pull-down menu with editing functions for annotations.
	Standard designation
	Delete text Clicking opens a menu with further Delete functions - also for annotations.

 

Besides manual assigning of item numbers, HiCAD offers (depending on the configuration level) the option to itemise BOM-relevant 3-D parts automatically. This function can be found in the Itemisation/Detailing function group of the Drawing tab.
