Edit and Process Surface Characters and Symbols

3-D Dimensioning + Text > Surface/Edge > Surf...

If you want to apply changes to existing surface characters, choose one of the following options:

right-click the required character or
select 3-D Dimensioning + Text > Surface/Edge and click the arrow below the Surf... icon.

	Edit You use this function to change the display of existing surface symbols. To enable you to do this, the Surface specifications window is displayed. Change the settings, and click OK to exit the window. The surface symbol is immediately adjusted.
	Move Moves surface symbols.
	Align Changes the alignment of a surface symbol. First identify the desired surface symbol and then the edge for the alignment.
	Delete Deletes surface symbols.
	Settings Changes the text parameters for the surface information. The settings will be saved to the surfsym.ini file in the HiCAD SYS directory. They will then be the default settings of surface characters for new model drawings.
