Contour Hatching Parameters

2-D Part > Hatching > Define > Define > Change hatching parameters

You use this function to change the parameters of existing contour hatchings. You can specify line type, layer, colour, angle and hatching line spacing separately.

  1. Change the parameters
  2. Then choose Continue and identify the hatching.

The selected hatching is changed immediately.

A selection of line types is available for the hatching lines.

You set the layer of the hatching parameters here. The default setting is layer 1.

This function enables you to set the colour of the hatching lines. The hatching colour is also saved in memory.

The hatching angle refers to the positive x-axis. You define the default setting by entering the angle.

You can specify the angle of the hatching lines, depending on the position of the part to be hatched. That line which is selected as identification for the contour after the parameters have been changed is taken as the reference line.

You can define the spacing of the hatching lines. The spacing is specified in mm and is invariant to scale.

You can shorten the hatching lines in the direction of the edge of the part. If the hatching lines are drawn up to the edge of the part, this may give you the optical impression that the hatching lines are protruding over the contour.

This function enables you to apply the attributes of an identified graphical element.
