Set-up of Drawing Derivation

For a set-up of the drawing derivation function for profile installation, proceed as follows:

Activate the assigning of Dispatch item numbers (aka shipping item numbers): In the Configuration Editor, go to Profile installation > Shipping itemisation and activate the Perform shipping itemisation checkbox. Also check and adjust the other setting options for the assigning of dispatch item numbers if required.

Choose Drawing > Itemisation/Detailing > Rules for AutoDimensioning in derived drawing .

On the top right corner, click on the  Load usage-dependent configuration. Choose the configuration RW_GROUP.

Click on New. Expand the new entry and choose the ID 2101: Dimensioning, Profile installation in the Dimensioning of assemblies section.

Click on the End button. Answer the question whether you want your changes to be saved with Yes. Then, select the configuration RW_GROUP again.

You can then continue with the creation of a derived drawing. These steps must be performed only once.
