Change Detail Views

Views > Edit > Change detail view

To make subsequent changes to a detail view, proceed as follows:

Select the Change detail view function. The Change detail view dialogue window is displayed. The window is largely similar to the New detail view window, except that it has no Sketch icons. This means that you cannot select or define a new sketch for the detail view. You can only change the existing sketch for the detail using the Sketch functions.
Change the sketch for the detail, if required. Depending on which function is activated, this is highlighted either in the detail view or in the original view.
If required, make further changes in the Change detail view window.
Click Create to adopt the changes.

You also use this function to subsequently change the lateral limitation of a sectional view.

Use the Change sectional view identifier, All function to change the identifiers of all detail views in the drawing.

You will find the function in the pull-down menu of the function. The Identifier settings dialogue window will then be displayed.

Please note:

Alternatively, you can access these functions via a context menu that you open by right-clicking on the view frame.
In addition, the following functions for subsequent changes of annotations or captions of sectional and detail views are available:
Edit view caption
Move annotation
Move caption

To activate these functions, right-click on the annotation or heading you want to change and select the required function.
