Signal connections are created to link gauge symbol connections to the connections on different symbols, as links to other gauge symbols or to link measuring points and gauge symbols.
You have a choice of two pre-defined line types for pipe connections. The icon for Type1 supplies connection lines with the, while icon for Type 2 supplies connection lines with Line Type 2. Please refer to the Settings chapter for information about pre-setting line type parameters for line types
If the new signal connection is the only connection to a gauge symbol, it is automatically assigned to the symbol to which the connection should be created. This only applies if the symbol is a General type, not a drive symbol, another gauge symbol or a Pipe part type. This assignment causes the dialogue from the data mask of the superior symbol to be copied to the gauge symbol as follows:
