. Use the Create link function to create the link and the Remove link to delete the link. A P+ID project can be linked to a 3-D Plant Engineering layout plan .
In the Plant Engineering module, select Link to P+ID > Load . Use the Create link function to create the link and the Remove link to delete the link.
If the assignment is faulty or if the assigned layout plan no longer exists, you can delete the link from the P+ID by calling the Remove layout plan assignment function. This function should only be used in the cases mentioned above.
A link between a layout plan and a P+ID project is created by saving the name of the project’s RPA file and the name of the layout plan in the 3-D drawing, while the name of the SZA file belonging to the layout plan is saved to the P+ID project. Changing file names, e.g. for revisions, always removes links. You need to re-create the link after changing the name.
