Extras (3-D SM)

The Extras menu can be found in the Sheet development function group of the Sheet Metal tab.

Functions	Description
	Export development as DXF file	Exports one development completely or as section contour.

	Develop sheets and export as DXF	Generates a section contour of all developments and exports them.
	Export sheet developments as DXF	Exports several developments completely or as section contours.
	2-D Data (ToPS GEO)	The ToPS Geo interface enables the direct export of sheet developments from HiCAD to the ToPS Geo file format. The Geo data can be loaded directly into the required modules (laser etc.) of the ToPS family.
	2-D Data (LVD)	This function enables the reading of sheet developments out of HiCAD as XML data for CADMAN-B (Version 7.5 or higher) by LVD.
	Active sheet (Sheet --> Solid)	The active sheet part with flanges and bend zones becomes a single solid. When converting an itemized sheet into a solid, the item number and the BOM-relevance will be transferred.
	Select (Sheet --> Solid)	Selected sheet metal parts with flanges and bend zones become a single solid. When converting an itemized sheet into a solid, the item number and the BOM-relevance will be transferred.
	All sheets (Sheet --> Solid)	All sheet metal parts in the drawing are converted into solids. When converting an itemized sheet into a solid, the item number and the BOM-relevance will be transferred. This function can also be found on the Simplify tab.
	From sectional view (2-D Sheet section)

	Overbend table (Blank)	You can insert the overbend table containing the blank's bend radii and angles into the drawing. To do this, define a fitting point for the table. The first two columns contain the bend radius ri and the bend angle alpha, which you have set for adding in the technology parameters. The last two columns contain the values for the production of the sheet. They depend on the material.
	Update H2 Sheet	When old sheet constructions (HiCAD 2) are loaded, a note to the effect that the old sheets are being converted is displayed. If you do not want a conversion to be performed, you can use this function to perform manual conversion of the sheets subsequently. To do this, identify the base sheet and click OK to confirm the message "Current sheet!".
