New Itemisation (2-D)

2-D Dimensioning + Text > Itemise part > Free

Free Annotation

You use this function to assign the selected annotation to a part. The process flow of the function mainly depends on the options in the Item number menu which can also be combined with one another.

  1. First select the frame.
  2. Then identify the part.
  3. Enter the item number or the increment and the start number, depending on the active setting.
  4. Define both points for the leader line.
  5. Identify the next part.

(1) Identify part
(2) Start point of the leader line
(3) End point of the leader line

Align Annotation Horizontally

2-D Dimensioning + Text > Itemise part > Align horizontally

This function works in a similar way to the Free function, the difference being that the tag (annotation) is aligned horizontally to an existing reference tag.

  1. First select any frame.
  2. Identify the reference tag.
  3. Then identify the part.
  4. Enter the item number or the increment and the start number, depending on the active setting.
  5. Define both points for the leader line.

The new tag is aligned horizontally to the reference tag. The end point of the leader line does not lie in the entered point, but is determined by means of the perpendicular of this point to the horizontal defined by the item number of the reference tag.

Align Annotation Vertically

2-D Dimensioning + Text > Itemise part > Align vertically

Unlike the Align horizontally function, the tag here is aligned vertically to a reference tag.

The end point of the leader line does not lie in the entered point, but is determined by means of the perpendicular of this point to the vertical defined by the item number of the reference tag.
