You can set points as auxiliary points during construction and as fitting for transforming and inserting. A point can also be used as a symbol reference point.
HiCAD has the following point-specific functions:
2-D Geometry > Tools > New point
Points are represented by means of a small circle. They can be identified by means of point option J and belong to the active part.
Assemblies are marked by large isolated points for direct identification in the drawing. You can change the size of the points in the Configuration Editor (ISDConfigEditor.exe) at System settings > 2-D Lines.
The factor can be set for "normal" isolated points (Default: 1) and for assembly points (Default: 1.5) in the Configuration Editor via System settings > 2-D Lines. The actual size depends on the value specified in the GRAPAR.DAT system file (HiCAD sys directory) at Radius Signatur (Line14), and the enlargement factor.
