Process Sketches - Further Functions (3-D)

Sketch > Process > Trim...> Others

In the Others section of the Trim menu, you will find further functions for the processing of composite edges and freeform curves:

 

Close c-edge, with line

Closes open sketches, i.e. connects start point and end point of the sketch.

 

Section

Use these functions to cut a composite edge with other elements in the drawing, thereby creating additional division points.

 

Freeform curves

If the active sketch/3-D sketch contains curves, you can use the functions of this menu to

  • model splines,
  • assign weights to control points, and
  • insert new knots.
