Text Block (2-D)

2-D Dimenioning + Text > Text > New > New text block 

Text blocks are multi-line texts belonging to the annotations. Activating the function opens the Annotation Editor. The Annotation Editor also opens when selecting the Text with leader line function. In addition, it opens when you edit and change texts created using these functions.

  1. After activating the function, select a part.

This then opens the annotation editor.

  1. Click the cursor in the frame on the title block and enter your text.
  2. Choose OK to exit the annotation editor.
  3. Identify a reference point for the text in the drawing.
  4. You can now select a new part or right-click to end the function.

If you activate an annotation with a double-click, the Annotation Editor opens.

If you use the right mouse button to activate an annotation, the following processing functions are displayed:

Description

Edit text block

This function allows you to open the annotation editor and correct the text.

Move text block

Once the text block has been identified, it attaches to the cursor and can be placed anywhere.

Delete text block

The entire text block is deleted.
