Change Part Master (HICADPDM)

Use the Change function in the context menu (right-click) to modify a part with revision index change. The master data and the graphic from the old index will be made invalid and are archived. The new version of the part receives a new index and will be activated. Thus you are enabled to track the modification respectively drawing statuses (indices) for the complete life cycle of a drawing. The Change function also recognises the linked documents. After calling the function, all documents with the link conditions Part <-> Part geometry and Part <-> Drawing will be offered for selection.

Activate the documents the index of which you want to change as well. You can now change the part and save it with the new index. The selected documents will now be offered for indexing one after the other.
