Parts Where-Used List (HICADPDM)

In the Where used tab of a part master window, a so-called Parts where-used list can be displayed. For this, you need to transfer the part structure to the product structure. Please note that only one level will be transferred.

In the Where-used list window you can set the number of levels and the type of display. For the type of display you can choose between List and Structure. The List display shows all levels one below each other. In the Structure display, the lower levels are indented. The three checkboxes have the following functions:

All indices	Old indices will also be considered. Suppose that part A has been inserted in an old index of part B. If the checkbox is active, a parts where-used list for part A will show the use with the old index.
Ignore revision	Old indices of the part will also be considered during the search. Suppose that Part A has been inserted with index 2 in part B. The current index of part A is 5. Part B is also listed if the checkbox is active.

After specifying the settings click Start to display the list. Right-click a list entry and select Display part to open the part detail window with the master data. Use the Print list function to print the list.
