In variable dimensionings the identified element determines the type of dimensioning, i.e. you can dimension lines, angles or circles.

Description

Linear dimensions

The identified element determines the type of dimensioning

  • Points > Linear dimensioning
  • Lines > Angular dimensioning
  • Circles or arcs > Circle dimensioning

Chain dimensions

The dimensioning for several point distances or angles is generated to the value of the first dimensioning. Here, too, dimensioning depends on the identified element.

  • Points > Chain dimensions for lines
  • Lines > Chain dimensions for angles

Parallel dimensions

Parallel dimensioning is generated, depending on the identified element (points or lines).

  • Lines > Parallel dimensions for angles

Running dimensions

Running dimensions are chain dimensions with the same reference point. The dimension figures refer to this point. Here, too, dimensioning depends on the identified element.
