Further Tools
Sheet Metal > Further Tools
HiCAD Sheet Metal provides you with libraries containing a wide variety of tools for processing sheets. You can use the Catalogue Editor to add your own punches and bore patterns (see Example) to the libraries. For instance, the Mould function provides you with swaging humps, centring bosses and extruded threads. You can create cross-breaks to increase the load bearing capacity of sheets. These functions are contained in the Further Tools function group.
On the 3-D Standard tab of the Ribbon, these functions are also available for sheets, namely, in the Standard Parts and Standard Processings function groups. Furthermore, numbers or texts can be applied.
