Report Manager - What's New?

Service Pack 1 2021 (V 2601)

Steel Engineering Excel template: Shipping list, short, with image

Another worksheet has been added to the Excel template HiCAD_Stahlbau: Shipping list, short, with image. It contains the same information as Shipping list, short, but additionally contains a picture of the parts.

Major Release 2021 (V 2600)

Packaging lists - Profile cross sections in Excel export

When exporting a packaging list for a profile installation to Excel, the profile cross-sections of the affected profiles are now displayed on the Packaging list spreadsheet.

For this purpose, you must use the Report Manager configuration HiCAD_Stahlbau.2600.0.

Bar lists - Optimized arrangement

When creating bar lists, the distribution of beams/profiles to the individual bars has been improved. This can lead to fewer bars being necessary to obtain the required beams/profiles.

Bar list - Beams and profiles with fixed lengths

In practice, beams or profiles are often used in model drawings, e.g. purchased parts, which are ordered for production with a fixed length. These beams/profiles should not appear in the bar list or must be shown separately.

In HiCAD, this can now be regulated via the attribute Fixed length(%FIXLEN), which must be assigned to the corresponding beams/profiles. If this attribute has the value 0 or is not set at all, the fixed length is not taken into account in the bar list. If the value is 1, then these beams/profiles are listed separately in the bar list.

By default, the attribute is not set, i.e. it is not included in the attribute masks. If you want to use this attribute, you must manually extend the attribute mask for beams and profiles by changing the files

accordingly .

Further information can be found in the topic The Attribute "Fixed length" in the Steel Engineering Help.
