Trim Sheet (3-D SM)

Sheet Metal > Change length > Trim (indiv.), with clearance 

Sheet Metal > Change length > Trim > Trim (indiv.), flush

You use these two functions to cut individual sheets or bend zones on a cut surface. If you choose the Trim, with clearance option, the clearance defined in the Technology data is considered. The Trim, flush option shortens the sheet up to the cut surface.

1. Identify the sheet surface that you want to be cut.
2. Identify an edge of the cut surface from inside.

The sheet is shortened up to the cut surface. You can now cut another sheet or use the middle mouse button to end the function.

(1) Sheet to be trimmed
(2) cut surface

(3) Clearance taken into account when shortening

(4) Sheet shortened flush
