3-D Standard > New > Solid primitive > Pyramid

You use this function to create a regular straight pyramid either as a solid body or a hollow body.

Enter the part name. Activate or deactivate the Reference, Feature and BOM-relevant checkboxes.

Now enter the required data.

  • Height
  • Number of corners
  • Corner radius of base surface B
  • Corner radius of top surface D
  • Number of corners
  • Corner radius of base surface B
  • Corner radius of top surface D
  • Height
  • Number of corners
  • Corner radius of base surface B
  • Corner radius of top surface D
  • Wall thickness
  • Number of corners
  • Corner radius of base surface B
  • Corner radius of top surface D
  • Wall thickness

If you have selected the Preview mode, position the pyramid in the drawing. The fitting point is the centre of the circumcircle of the base surface.

In the Points direct mode, you define the height by specifying the start and end points of the axis, e.g. Absolute (0,0,0) and (0,0,500).
