Attribute Assignments: Index Table

Via so-called Index tables you can write attributes to iProperties during assigning of attributes from HELiOS to CAD; these will then also be visible in title blocks of drawing frames.

This can be useful if, for instance, you want to view the modification history based on the HELiOS version management in the drawing frame.

To enter or edit an index table, select a Property prefix for the title block from the pull-down menu at the top of the dialogue window.

Beneath it, you can choose a Condition such as "IsSolidWorksDrawing" to ensure hat this attribute assignment will be exclusively used for SOLIDWORKS drawings.

In the next input field, enter the desired Number of rows.

The HELiOS indices will be shown in the title block "from top to bottom". This is, if the index table has 6 rows, and the newest index is 8 (or "h"), the indices from 3 to 8 (or from "c" to "h") will be visible in the title block.

Click on to add further columns to the index table. The following dialogue window will be displayed:

Enter a meaningful Property suffix, which is to be shown in the title block and a reasonable Maximum length of characters for the corresponding field.

Clicking on Add attribute to open a further selection dialogue for the attribute of the column:

Mark the desired attribute and confirm with OK.

Close the Edit column dialogue window with OK...

...adding the attribute to the attribute assignment of the index table.

Close this window with OKas well, to ensure that the index table and its content will be included into the attribute assignment for the export from HELiOS.
