The path of the linked application for most file extensions can be found in the Windows registration file.

Activate the Document type function and enter the file extension without dot and file name in the second line.

If you activate the next line, with the tab key or the mouse, the entries for the windows registration file (if there are any) will be taken over to the mask. Amend or change the entries.

Here, you need to enter the name with which you want to save the definition.

Here, you need to enter the file extension (DOC, CDR) without name and dot.

Here, you define the program you want to use to process the file. Enter the complete path with the program start file. The Load function in the detail window reverts to this EXE file.

Here, you enter the path to the program only.

Here you can select the Viewer to display the file. Specify path and EXE file. The selected Viewer will be started when you call the Graphic function in the detail window. If there is no Viewer for this file extension, you can as well enter the program.

Here, you enter the path for the viewer only.

Save the definition with OK. When calling the Document type function again, use Load to activate and edit the new definition. Use the Delete function to remove the definition from the database.
