Toggle Visibility of Dimensional Constraints
Visualisation > Toggle visibility of dimensions (3-D Part HCM)
Use the Toggle visibility of dimensions function to influence the display of dimensional constraints.
Via this button you can switch the display of dimensional constraints in a drawing on and off. The settings of the display mode affect the entire drawing, and not just the active assembly.
The status of the button indicates the current setting:
- If the button has been activated, dimensional constrains will be shown.
- If the button has been deactivated, dimensional constrains will be hidden.
Please note:
When you select a dimensional constraint in the HCM window of the ICN, it will even be shown in the drawing if the display of dimensional constraints has been switched off with this function. Selected HCM dimensional constraints are highlighted in the drawing by the special colour Marking 5 (default: Orange). You can change this colour via the Colour Editor if desired.
Using the context menu of one or more dimensional constraints in the ICN, you can hide individual positional constraints by selecting Always hide, independently of the global visibility of measurements. The default value here is Follow global visibility settings, whereby the dimensional constraint will follow the Toggle visibility of dimensions function.
