Type of insertion

• Replace an existing table or insert a new one, with fitting point

Before inserting a table, HiCAD automatically checks whether a table with the given name already exists. If so, it will be replaced by the new table. The fitting point, i.e. position, of the previous table will be retained. If no such table exists, you will be prompted to specify the fitting point to the positioning of the new table.

• Replace existing table, with fitting point query

The new table will be positioned after specifying the fitting point. If a table with the given name already exists, it will be deleted.

• Insert new table, with fitting point query

The new table will be positioned after specifying the fitting point. If any tables with the given name already exist, they will, in this case, be retained.

The way in which tables are positioned depends on the setting selected for Fitting point.

HiCAD Names

Exported data items are transferred in tabular form and inserted in the current HiCAD drawing as 2-D parts with the given table name supplemented with a consecutive number (depending of the number of rows per page).

Specify the required names for the Structure List and the Quantity List.

The designation and number of BOM tables inserted in HiCAD depend upon the value specified for the field Number of rows per page. For instance, if your Quantity List consists of 16 rows and 4 rows per page have been specified, 4 tables (M_LISTE_TBL_1,.....,M_LISTE_TBL_4) will be inserted in the HiCAD drawing. If you have specified 16 rows per page, only one table with the name M_LISTE_TBL_1 will be created.

The settings for Respect columns for output in the View (Quantity List) and View (Structure List) tabs will be considered during export.
