If you work with different construction sections, this function allows you to insert a construction section list into the drawings of the individual parts. This construction section list shows how often a part is present in the different construction sections.
The function can be used in the 3-D model as well as in the detail drawings.
To use the function, the following requirements must be met:
- In the Configuration Editor at PDM > Management + BIM, the parameter Output associated assembly(-ies) must be set to Yes.
- The model drawing must be divided into construction sections.
- The itemisation must be carried out in the overall model, i.e. the Itemisation checkbox must be active in the document master of the model drawing.
- The construction sections must be saved as externally referenced detail drawings. For each construction section in the article and document master the attribute Construction section must be assigned and the checkbox Itemisation must be deactivated.
- The production drawings must be created in the overall model.
Once the production drawings have been created, a construction section list can be generated using the Output construction section list in drawing function.
- If you have called the function in the complete model, then first select the construction sections in which the part is to be searched for and the desired individual parts.
- If you have called the function in the detail drawing, then select the construction sections.
Caution:
The BOM will be deleted again when updating the drawings!
You can also assign the usage Construction section directly in HiCAD to the assemblies representing the construction sections. In this case, the Construction section field in the HELiOS attribute masks is automatically preset with the article number of the assembly.
An example:
The model drawing shown below was created as an itemized source model.
The drawing consists of two non-BOM relevant structural assemblies with multiple I-beams. In this example the assemblies Frame 1 and Frame 2 are the construction sections.
We first save the assembly Frame 1 as a referenced part drawing (RMB > Reference part, Save, Detail drawing).
In the article master, we choose Construction section 1 as construction section name.
We repeat the process for Frame 2 (construction section name: Construction section 2).
Now we itemize the whole model and save the model drawing.
In the parts structure you can see that the beam with the item number 101 appears several times in both construction sections.
We create the drawings using the function Management + BIM > Workshop > Drawing.
Now we want to add a construction section list to the detail drawing of the beam with the item number 101. It should be recognizable how often the beam is present in the two construction sections.
We activate the function Construction section list in drawing, select both construction sections and then the beam with the item number 101.
The construction section list is inserted into the detail drawing.
In this context, please also note the information on the _SZNATTRRIQ attribute. The use of this attribute in the title block of the drawing frames causes the system to display the assembly assignment and total number of a part in the title block of the detail drawings.
