Update Models

Management+BIM > Drawing > Update models with old referenced parts

Like production drawings, you can now also manage construction sections (i.e. referenced part models) in HiCAD. For this purpose, the links

• Construction unit
• Model up to date and
• Model not up to date

are available.

Via these links you can check whether there are model drawings with old referenced construction sections, and if they need to be updated.

 

The Update models with old referenced parts function will only be available if the parameter Updating of referenced parts in the Configuration Editor at PDM > Verwaltung+BIM has been set to Yes.

When you call the function, all models containing old parts will be listed.

Choose the required model and click on OK.
