The 'Extras' Menu

The Extras menu provides tools such as the Colour Editor or Variant Editor as well as additional functions for 3-D grids and various Temporary settings.
If you click on the icon, the Colour Editor will be started. If you click on the arrow 
next to the icon, a pull-down menu with further tools and functions will be displayed.

Simplifies the operation of HiCAD with various individual settings. |

3-D grid Grids are important auxiliary tools for design tasks in 3-D. Use this function to define 3-D line grids. The lines of the grid are also called "system axes". |

This function enables you to assign different designations to HiCAD part types. These are assigned to the HiCAD attribute $02 (in the browser: H_designation 2). This makes it possible, for example, to assign individual additional texts to different beam types or even plates and pipes. |

Tools Activates the Tools menu with additional functions for filling in of title blocks, 3-D shading, various conversion functions, recalculation functions for cut-outs, detail views etc. |

Activates the Reference drawing menu for the referencing of 2-D parts. |

|
Changes the coordinate system display. |
|
|
Activates the Settings menu for the applying of temporary changes (current HiCAD session) to various system parameters. |
