Information - Angles
Using the functions of this menu, you can detect angles between arbitrary points, edges and planes of the drawing.
|
Information, Angle 2 planes Detects an angle between two planes. ![]()
(1) + (2) Edges for 1st plane, (3) + (4) Edges for 2nd plane, (5) Angle |

|
Information, Angle 2 edges Detects the value of an angle between two edges. ![]()

|
Information, Angle 3 points Detects an angle defined by three points. The first point determines the 1st leg, the second the vertex and the third point the 2nd leg. ![]()
(1) 1st point, (2) 2nd point, (3) 3rd. point, (4) Angle |

Information, Angle Edge - Plane Detects an angle between an edge and a plane. ![]()
(1) Edge (2) + (3) Edges for plane, (4) Angle |

|
Information, Aperture angle Detects the aperture angle of a cone. |
The following output options are available for the calculated angle (example angle: 30°):
Positive angle |
30° |
Supplement angle |
150° |
Negative angle |
-30° |
Angle + 90 degrees |
120° |
Negative direction |
-150° |
Angle - 90 degrees |
-60° |
Please note:
For the identification of a plane the following options are available:
- Identification of 2 edges,
- Identification of 1 edge and specification of 1 point,
- Specification of 3 points,
- Definition of a surface. The plane will be determined by the normal vectors.
