Weld Seams

3-D Standard > Standard Parts > Weld

Use the Insert new weld seam function to insert weld seams into your drawing. Weld seams identify the connection of two workpieces that have been unioned by welding.

A weld seam is defined by:

• the symbol,
• the length and thickness of the weld seam and
• the type and form of the weld seam tag.

Clicking opens a menu with further weld seam functions.

	Delete weld seams, Individual Deletes individual weld seams of a part.
	Delete all weld seams Deletes all weld seams in the drawing.
	Hide all weld seams Hides all weld seams (also in the ICN, via right-clicking a weld seam item).
	Show all weld seams Shows all weld seams (also in the ICN, via right-clicking a weld seam item).
	Insert weld symbol Inserts new weld symbols..
